Welcome

Welcome to the blog of St. Stephen's Holiday Hoopfest, an 8th grade boy's "B" level basketball tournament.


In celebration of our new Parish Center, we will be hosting our 4th annual Holiday Hoopfest.
The dates are 12/26/2010 and will wrap up on 12/29/2010. This is an 8th grade Boys "B" level tournament.

This tournament is open to all teams who wish to participate, however, the number of teams are limited to 16 and will be accepted on a first come, first served basis.

We will be hosting a 3 point shootout contest in which each we welcome each team to enter two participants. Awards will go to First place and the Runner up. We will let you know when the contest will take place.

All teams will be guaranteed two games. Team trophies will be presented in each division for First Place and Runner up and the third place team in the winner bracket. Also, the consolation winner and tournament winner will recieve a special commemorative game ball.

The tournament will be played in 2, 14 minute halves. Each team will be given 3 timeouts per game. All other CYC rules apply.

All games will be played in the St. Stephen's gym at 3929 Wilmington Ave. 63116. Practice Balls will be provided.

Entry Fee is $125. You may enter the tournament by sending us your roster by email to tomg0207@yahoo.com or by regular mail to Tom Goodman, 1130 Dover Pl. St. Louis, MO 63111. Checks should be made payable to

St. Stephen's Athletic Association.

Registration deadline is December 15, 2010. Once your roster is received by either email or regular mail, your spot in the tournament will be secured.

All players and coaches must have a valid CYC ID card and be on your current roster.
This Blog will be used for communication throughout the time leading up to the tournament. Standings, brackets and schedules will also be posted on this blog.
